Summary:Coming at a time of hope and challenge, the new World Bank Group (WBG) Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for Malawi for FY21–25 sets out a focused and flexible engagement strategy. The WBG’s engagement is organized around three focus areas: (1) bolstering foundations for growth and accountability; (2) promoting private sector-led jobs and livelihoods; and (3) strengthening human capital development. In addition, digital development and women’s empowerment will be integrated as crosscutting themes.
